Hebei Women's Federation in September provided training, to help cadres of women's federations, at all levels in Hebei, improve their ability to help women and children protect their rights. The event was held in Shijiazhuang, capital of North China's Hebei Province.
Around the same time, Hebei Women's Federation, and Hebei Provincial Department of Justice, the Department of Agriculture of Hebei Province and Hebei's Law Publicity Leading Group initiated a project to cultivate "legal mediators," who publicize information about laws and regulations, especially those pertaining to the protection of women and children's legal rights and interests, to help residents improve their understanding of the laws and regulations. More than 600 people — including volunteers, leaders and cadres of women's federations, at all levels in Hebei — attended the first
online lecture, held immediately after the kickoff ceremony.
The training and the project are intended to help cadres of women's federations, at all levels in Hebei, better understand laws, so they can play greater roles in helping women promote their respective hometowns' rural vitalization, to improve Hebei's legal system and to implement the campaign to encourage residents to build peaceful families.
